The EOS 5D MkIII is a popular, powerful and versatile DSLR. It is a full-frame 22.3 MP camera with 61 point autofocus and 6fps continuous stills-shooting. The successor to the 5D Mark II now records full-HD video with manual control. The camera has uncompressed HDMI output allowing users to record onto external-recorders simultaneously. A favourite of the indie filmmaker, the camera's full-frame sensor produces beautiful, cinematic images with a shallow-depth of field, reminiscent of medium-format film cameras.
